AI Training Data Policy

This policy explains whether Tarosyn or its AI providers use your content to train machine-learning models, what data is shared with those providers, and what choices you have. We believe you deserve a clear, honest answer — not buried small print.

1. does tarosyn train models on your content?

No. Tarosyn does not use your tarot readings, journal entries, dream descriptions, messages, uploaded photos, or any other personal content to train, fine-tune, or improve our own machine-learning models. We do not build or maintain proprietary foundation models.

Any AI-generated output you receive — readings, horoscope insights, mystic-persona messages, dream interpretations — is produced at inference time by a third-party AI provider (currently OpenAI) and is not fed back into a training pipeline by us.

2. what we send to ai providers

To generate personalized content, Tarosyn sends a prompt to the AI provider that may include contextual information you have provided, such as:

Your zodiac sign, birth chart positions, and life path number Your selected Mystic Persona and Truth State tone preference The tarot cards drawn for a reading and the spread type A question or intention you typed before a reading Dream text or a photo you submitted for a photo reading Your chosen horoscope sign and date range

We do not send your password, payment details, private direct messages, full contact list, or data unrelated to the AI feature being used.

3. how our ai providers handle your data

Tarosyn currently uses OpenAI for text and image generation. When you use Tarosyn's AI-powered features, portions of your prompt data are transmitted to OpenAI's API.

Under OpenAI's enterprise API terms, data submitted via the API is not used to train OpenAI's general models by default. OpenAI acts as a data processor on our behalf and is bound by data-processing commitments consistent with GDPR and other applicable privacy laws.

You can review OpenAI's own data and privacy commitments at openai.com/enterprise-privacy. If we add other AI providers in the future, we will update this policy and apply the same evaluation criteria.

4. your opt-out options

Because Tarosyn does not use your content for training, there is no Tarosyn-side training opt-out to configure at this time.

AI Data Sharing toggle. You can turn off the use of your personal context in AI-powered readings from Settings → Privacy → AI Data Sharing. When this is turned off, your readings still work, but Tarosyn sends only the cards drawn and the question you asked to the AI provider. Identifying details — your birth chart and astrological profile, equipped gemstone, personality (Enneagram) type, and your saved reading/journal history (the "Soul Ledger") — are omitted, and the reading falls back to a generic, non-identifying prompt. The setting is saved to your account and syncs across your devices. Turning it back on restores personalized readings; it does not change anything already saved.

You can further limit what data reaches AI providers by:

Not using AI-powered features — readings, dream interpreter, photo readings, mystic messages, and horoscopes all involve AI. The app's non-AI features (journal, vault, social, gemstones) do not send data to AI providers. Keeping photos private — photo readings send your image to OpenAI's vision API; if you prefer not to share images externally, skip photo-reading features. Deleting your account — you can delete your Tarosyn account and associated data at any time via Settings → Account. See our Account Deletion Policy for details. Note that data already transmitted to a third-party provider during use of the Service may be retained by that provider under its own data-retention schedule.

5. de-identified & aggregate analytics

Tarosyn may analyse aggregate, de-identified usage patterns (e.g., which reading types are most popular, general tone-preference distributions) to improve the product experience. This analysis does not identify individual users and is not shared with AI providers.

6. changes & contact

We will update this policy if our AI provider relationships change, if we introduce model-training capabilities, or if we add a user-facing opt-out mechanism. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email.
