AI Usage Policy
Last updated May 31, 2026
Tarosyn LLC ("Tarosyn," "we," "us," or "our") uses artificial intelligence to power readings, horoscopes, oracle insights, and other features across the Tarosyn platform. This policy explains what AI is used for, how it works, its limitations, and your responsibilities as a user.
1. how tarosyn uses ai
Tarosyn integrates large-language AI models — currently provided by OpenAI — to generate the following types of content:
Tarot readings — interpretations of drawn cards tailored to your question or spread. Daily Revelations and horoscopes — astrologically inspired reflections generated fresh each day. Dream interpretations — symbolic explorations of submitted dream descriptions. Mystic Personas and Oracle chat — conversational guidance through AI-driven spiritual personas. Photo readings — interpretations generated in response to images you choose to share. AI-generated imagery — card art and visual content produced using image-generation models. Pathway Map guidance — personalised step-by-step spiritual journey content.
AI is also used for background tasks such as content moderation assistance, blog drafting, and internal tooling that does not surface directly to users.
2. nature of ai-generated content
All AI-generated content on Tarosyn is symbolic, reflective, and for entertainment and personal contemplation purposes only. It is intended to invite self-reflection, creative exploration, and a sense of wonder — not to serve as a definitive guide for real-world decisions.
AI readings and insights do not constitute:
Medical or mental-health advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Legal advice or legal opinions of any kind. Financial, investment, or economic guidance. Psychological counselling or therapy. Predictions of real-world events or future outcomes.
Please consult qualified professionals for decisions in any of those domains.
3. ai limitations and hallucinations
AI language models can produce output that is inaccurate, inconsistent, generic, or factually incorrect. This phenomenon — commonly called "hallucination" — is an inherent characteristic of current AI technology, not a bug unique to Tarosyn.
Specific limitations you should be aware of:
No real-world knowledge. AI models have a training-data cutoff and do not have access to current events, your personal circumstances, or live information unless you explicitly share it in your prompt. Variability. Two identical queries may produce meaningfully different responses. Readings reflect statistical patterns in training data, not metaphysical certainty. Potential for unexpected output. AI can occasionally produce responses that feel off-topic, contradictory, or surprising. These are artefacts of the model and should not be interpreted as meaningful signals. No memory across sessions. Unless you explicitly provide context, AI models do not retain information from previous interactions.
Tarosyn applies post-processing, persona instructions, and system prompts to shape AI output to be coherent and spiritually framed — but we cannot guarantee that all output will be accurate, appropriate, or free from error.
4. user responsibility
By using Tarosyn's AI-powered features, you acknowledge and accept that:
AI-generated readings and insights are provided for entertainment and personal reflection only. You will exercise your own independent judgement before acting on any content generated by Tarosyn's AI features. You will seek qualified professional advice for any medical, legal, financial, or psychological matters. You understand that AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unexpected, and you will not rely on it as a substitute for human expertise or professional counsel. You will not use Tarosyn to generate content that is harmful, illegal, or designed to deceive, harass, or impersonate others.
5. ai providers and data
Tarosyn currently routes AI generation requests to OpenAI. When you request a reading or AI insight, relevant context (such as your question, selected cards, or submitted text) is transmitted to OpenAI's API for processing.
We do not share your personal profile data, account credentials, payment information, or private journal entries with AI providers unless you explicitly include them in a prompt or reading question.
OpenAI's use of data transmitted via the API is governed by their own API usage policies and privacy practices. Tarosyn's Privacy Policy describes how we handle data on our end.
6. safeguards
Tarosyn applies the following safeguards to our AI pipelines:
System instructions that frame AI output within Tarosyn's spiritual, reflective framing and discourage harmful content. Content filtering through OpenAI's built-in moderation layers, which flag and block policy-violating output. Rate limits and abuse controls to prevent misuse of AI generation endpoints. Human-review pathways for flagged or reported content through our moderation system.
These safeguards reduce but do not eliminate the risk of unexpected or unwanted AI output. If you encounter AI-generated content that concerns you, please use the in-app Report button or contact us at [email protected].
7. evolving ai landscape
AI technology is advancing rapidly. Tarosyn may update the AI models, providers, or techniques we use over time. Material changes to the types of data shared with AI providers or the nature of AI-generated content will be communicated via an update to this policy and the "Last Updated" date above.
We are committed to using AI responsibly and to keeping this policy transparent and up to date as the technology and regulatory environment evolves.
8. updates to this policy
Tarosyn may revise this AI Usage Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects when the policy was last changed. Your continued use of Tarosyn's AI-powered features after an update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
